I’m beginning to really like short films. I mean, how could you go wrong? You get to watch a movie in 20 minutes or less. Its fantastic! I’ve seen more shorts this year than all the previous years of my life combined. Miss Freelance was another great one. I haven’t seen a bad one yet in 2019 and Miss Freelance keeps the streak going. Its hard to imagine you can learn so much about a character in only 19 minutes, but Matthew Kyle Levine (director) does a wonderful job of accomplishing just that with the help of Maddy Murphy (as Carly). I’ve also been seeing Timothy J. Cox (as Ben) pop up in a lot of shorts lately and this might be his best role yet. So with that I say, “Bravo!” to the cast and crew involved with Miss Freelance. I enjoyed all 1,140 seconds of it!
