We’ve been blessed with MC (motorcycle club) TV shows like Sons of Anarchy and movies like Wild Hogs, only to be cursed by this movie… Nation’s Fire.

Okay, so that was a bit extreme. We weren’t actually cursed by Nation’s Fire. It really was a refreshing spin surrounding an MC, but in reality, it was all over the place. Some of the action was pretty awesome and even had my heart racing, but there was just too much going on. At times, it was hard for me to follow. I know it’s almost impossible to have too much action in a movie, but Nation’s Fire did just that. I feel like if it were broken into a couple movies or even a series, it would have been more spread out and came across easier. You would have fell in love with and/or hated some of the characters, but cramming it all in to an hour and a half, left me feeling disconnected.

Speaking of characters, there were a few that were great and a few that could have used some work. As an added bonus we had some Chuck Liddell time too! Always love seeing him on the big screen.

I also have to give a nod to the makeup artist and special effects coordinator. Great work, Alisha L. Baijounas and Joe Castro. The two aspects of the film were very well done!

In my opinion, if you want to watch something motorcycle themed, stick with SOA or Wild Hogs. I hear Easy Rider is great too, but unfortunately I have to admit, I have yet to see it. However, Nation’s Fire was a very original idea with some truly bad-ass chicks… so if you’re trying to find one surrounding a female motorcycle club, Nation’s Fire will be right up your alley!
