Pursuing the American Dream in an RV, The Black Donnellys embark on an adventure to set a Guinness World Record, playing 60 shows in all 50 US states in just 40 days. These rambunctious guitar-slinging, pint-drinking Irish immigrants connect with fans through music on an emotional whirlwind road trip full of friendship, original music, and laughter.

An Irish Story: This Is My Home was a fun documentary. It kind of reminded me of an episode of The Amazing Race and I love that show. Two guys (and their crew), racing around the country to try and beat the Guinness World Record. Love it! On top of that, I’m a huge traveler, so being able to watch them travel through all fifty states was pretty cool.

At times the documentary did feel stretched out, but it was still enjoyable.

The music was great. The story was great. It felt like it was being told over some beers with your buddies.

This Is My Home is a documentary that I believe mostly everyone will enjoy. The message alone makes it worth watching. The traveling stories and the music are added bonuses.

An Irish Story: This Is My Home will be available on digital platforms, April 20th.
