A lot of reviews for The Host are pretty rough. I get it though… it’s a total Psycho rip off and I was even getting some Hostel vibes, but with worse acting and very minimal originality.
All that being said, there where times I found myself getting caught up in the story. I honestly think if you’ve never seen Psycho or Hostel, you’ll really enjoy this one. However, for me, it definitely loses points for the stolen valor.
