“A newlywed American couple goes to India on their honeymoon, but a ruby has been stolen and placed in their backpack. When the bad guys realize this, they kidnap the wife (Anna Nicholas) so the husband (Brett Stimely) and his new Indian friend (Rajinikanth) must save her. Along the way, they are confronted with many challenges.”
This Indiana Jones rip-off was actually kind of fun. I loved the campy-ness of it. Totally a movie I picture my dad or grandpop enjoying.
Bloodstone definitely had it’s “oh come on” moments, but I miss these types of movies. Especially the 80s/90s action music… including a song made/named specifically for the movie. Very nostalgic.
The Arrow Video Channel has a lot of fun, hidden gems like this available to stream on demand. If you’re looking for another streaming service, it’s worth checking out.
